KLINGER delivers top-quality products hand-in-hand with exceptional customer care in Vietnam

Coffee holds a special place in the hearts of many, enchanting us with its alluring aroma and comforting taste. For coffee enthusiasts, it’s not just a drink; it’s a delightful ritual that brings joy and comfort, with each sip bringing a story of memories, culture, and experiences.

If you’re a coffee lover, you might already know that Vietnam is the second-largest producer of coffee in the world, with Robusta coffee being the predominant variety cultivated there. But did you know that our KLINGER valves play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this remarkable coffee?

A land of breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture, the country is also famous for its unique coffee traditions. For Vietnamese, coffee consumption is an integral part of their lifestyle and social gatherings.

Unlocking Flavours

Robusta is widely used in instant coffee production and blends. The international coffee giant, Nestle Coffee, relies on this product from the enchanting coffee plantations of Vietnam. At Vietnam’s Tri An coffee factory which exports its products to more than 25 countries around the world, KLINGER valves have been working tirelessly to maintain the desired quality, flavor, and consistency of the coffee product, to deliver that perfect cup of coffee-to-coffee lovers worldwide.

Extracting: In the initial stage, hot water is used to extract soluble solids from the roasted coffee. Valves are used to control the flow of hot water into contact with the coffee grounds, regulate the water-to-coffee ratio and control the extraction process, ensuring the desired flavor and strength of the coffee extract.

Filtrating: Valves are used in the filtration process to control the flow of the extract through filters or separators, separating the liquid coffee extract from the solid coffee grounds.

Concentrating: Valves play a role in controlling the flow of the concentrated coffee extract during the evaporation process to a higher solids content before drying

Spray Drying: Valves are used to control the flow of concentrated liquid coffee into the spray drying equipment to form the coffee powder.

In the last 135 years, KLINGER has earned a reputation for producing top-quality sealing and fluid control products, including gaskets, valves and level gauges that have become a staple in various industries across the globe, including Vietnam.

While KLINGER products enjoy popularity in the country, one area that needed improvement was after-sale support. With the widespread distribution of products through various channels, the challenge of providing consistent and timely after-sale support became evident. This led to frustration among some customers who faced difficulties with product maintenance, repairs and general queries.

In addition to the challenge of providing consistent after-sale support, another pressing concern emerged in the form of counterfeit KLINGER  products that flooded the market. These counterfeit items not only tarnish the reputation of KLINGER but also pose significant risks to customers who unknowingly purchased them.

Recognising the gravity of this issue,  Michael assumed a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences while eliminating counterfeit products from the market.  He is tasked with strengthening relationships with existing customers, attracting new ones, and enhancing customer satisfaction, safety, and trust in KLINGER products and services.

With the new era of localised support through Michael and a dedicated SE Asia team behind him, Vietnamese customers can expect nothing less than excellence from KLINGER products and services.

Delighting Customers

Vietnam has been one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia. Its consistent economic growth has been proven to attract foreign investments and businesses to build long-term partnerships.

“There is huge potential within the country, predominately from oil & gas, petrochemical, food & drinks and manufacturing. A lot of organisations in those industries are still state-owned, and having direct access to them as end customers, even if we have a good local distribution network have proven to be key in building customer confidence, knowing that they can rely on a dedicated team to address their concerns promptly.”

“It shows that we as the manufacturer, value their input and are invested in providing them with the best products. This complements the efforts of our distributors in building strong relationships, which is very important in Vietnamese business culture.”

Having been a part of the KLINGER team for the past 9 months, Michael has been working closely with the country ‘s distributors and engaging with end customers.

In the past 135 years, KLINGER has established itself as a renowned producer of high-quality sealing and fluid control products, which encompass gaskets, valves, and level gauges. These products have become integral to various industries worldwide, including Vietnam.

Despite the popularity KLINGER products enjoy in the country, one area requiring improvement has been the after-sales support. Due to the widespread distribution of products through diverse channels, the challenge of ensuring consistent and timely after-sales support has become apparent. This challenge has led to customer frustration, as some individuals encounter difficulties with product maintenance, repairs, and general inquiries.

In addition to the challenge of delivering consistent after-sales support, another significant concern has arisen in the form of counterfeit KLINGER products flooding the market. These counterfeit items not only tarnish KLINGER’s reputation but also expose unwitting customers to substantial risks when purchasing them.

Recognising the seriousness of this issue, Michael has assumed a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences while eliminating counterfeit products from the market. His responsibilities include strengthening relationships with existing customers, attracting new ones, and improving customer satisfaction, safety, and trust in KLINGER’s products and services.
