We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

8.1 Marketing communications in response to offline enquiry i.e. direct email or direct contact enquiry

If you trade with us (send us a quote/information enquiry or make a purchase from us), our trading terms apply, which details our communications with you including the use of marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time as per our trading terms and this privacy policy. 

9.0 KLINGER Expert

On our website you have the possibility to download our tool KLINGER Expert, for which we need your email address to send you the download link. The data you provide will be stored and retained so that we can email you any updates made to the KLINGER Expert tool as and when the updates occur in the future. This will ensure you have an up-to-date tool and information.

10.0 Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.  These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

12.0 Behavioural Remarketing

We use remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to you after you have visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

14.0 Social Media Share Buttons

We use links on our web pages to several social media sites. The social media share buttons are links to the respective social media site. If you access web pages of our website which have such a link, this will not create a connection to the respective social media site.  Only when clicking on those links, data will be sent to the social media sites. If you are logged in on the social media site at the same time, the social media site will associate this information to your personal user account. Please note that we have no knowledge of the exact content of the personal data transferred to the social media site, or how this data is used. You can only prevent this by logging out before using the link.

We use plug-ins from YouTube to incorporate videos on our site.

YouTube is a product of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which is represented by Google Inc. based at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you open a page of our website which contains a YouTube plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection with YouTube’s servers. The content of the plug-in is directly transmitted to your browser by YouTube and integrated in the page. Through this integration, YouTube is informed that your browser has visited the corresponding page of our website. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a YouTube server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in as a registered user of YouTube, YouTube will add this information to your personal user account.
